Talent Biography

Graffiti Classics is an all-singing, all-dancing comedy string quartet that brings classical music, folk, opera and familiar tunes together with quick-fire humour and audience participation. Two violins, viola and double bass become the cast of a fast-moving musical cabaret, with virtuosic playing, physical comedy and four distinct personalities. The group has performed in theatres, festivals, corporate events and aboard major cruise lines, adapting its show for audiences of different ages and settings. The musicians move throughout the performance, playing while they dance and turning a traditional quartet concert into a lively shared experience.

Led by double bassist Cathal Ó Dúill, Graffiti Classics aims to make live instrumental music welcoming, exhilarating and funny. The act can present two separate 45-minute theatre sets as well as shorter appearances, with its own instrumental and vocal arrangements.
