Talent Biography

Ian Ward is a powerhouse Broadway and concert vocalist with 20 years on stage, screen, and international tours. He starred in Jesus Christ Superstar at the Hollywood Bowl alongside Cynthia Erivo, Adam Lambert, and Josh Gad, and played Roger in RENT in Concert at San Diego’s Rady Shell. On Broadway, he appeared in Gettin’ the Band Back Together, and regionally in La Jolla Playhouse’s Working Girl (music by Cyndi Lauper).

TV and film highlights include American Idol (Golden Ticket, Season 23), FOX’s 9-1-1, Bad Tutor (Lifetime), Cory in the House (Disney), and Veronica Mars (CW). Internationally, he has led The Great Comet in Shanghai, Footloose and Rock of Ages with Norwegian Cruise Line, plus Rock of Ages Hollywood and BAZ: A Musical Mashup Las Vegas.

With a voice rooted in classic rock and shaped by Broadway, Ian delivers raw emotion, humor, and high-energy storytelling every show.
