Talent Biography

R.T. STECKEL was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia and began doing comedy in 1996 at Atlanta’s well known Punchline Comedy Club and Atlanta’s critically acclaimed Whole World Improv Theater, where he perfected many of the impersonations and characters he still uses today. R.T. has performed all over the United States as well as internationally, performing in Germany, Japan, England and Amsterdam to name a few. After Moving to Los Angeles R.T. has performed stand-up and sketches at such comedic institutions as the Laugh Factory, the Comedy Store, Upright Citizens Brigade, Improv Olympic and has worked with some of the best in the business such as, Rob Schneider, Damon Wayans and Chris Tucker. R.T. has performed at Caesars Palace for the HBO comedy Festival and appeared on BET’s One Mic Stand hosted by Kevin Hart as well as appearing on Conan O’Brien and Comedy Central. R.T. has recently taped a special for Showtime, appeared on the BET series ‘Real Husbands of Hollywood’ and will be on the next season of the Stand-up series ‘Off the Chain’.
