Phil Tag is an acclaimed stand-up comedian, comedy writer and producer with an impressive career spanning more than three decades. After landing pivotal television spots on Showtime’s Comedy Club Network and A&E’s An Evening At The Improv, Phil went on to win Ed McMahon’s Star Search, and was invited to perform at the prestigious Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival, which led to an appearance on Comedy Central Presents, and numerous appearances on NBC’s The Tonight Show.
As a writer, Phil has made notable contributions on a variety of iconic television shows, including The Late Show with David Letterman, Saturday Night Live's "Weekend Update”. On the production side, Phil co-produced and wrote for The People's Choice
Awards with Kevin James and Ray Romano, and served as Head Writer and Associate Producer for the comedy sports show Unsportsmanlike Conduct.
In the world of feature screenwriting, Phil has achieved major success, selling his original comedy, Honky to 20th Century Fox, and has developed projects for major studios including Disney and Warner Brothers.
