Talent Biography

Born in Kolkata, India, David Nobo is one of India’s Premier Illusionists. Being bitten by the magic bug at an early age after be learnt a card trick from a magician at a local fair , he made it his goal to become a professional Illusionist. Taking the leap of faith right after high school, David started his career performing at schools, charity events and private parties. On gaining more skills and experience he set his sights on becoming a corporate entertainer. In 2010 he was chosen as one of India’s top 10 magicians to feature on Star ‘One’s India’s Magic Star’. Having created a buzz after being on the show, he started with corporate tours all over the country. He also performed 3 large scale escape stunts , was invited to feature on Sony TV’s ‘Entertainment K Live, Kuch bhi Karega’ and Zee Telegu’s ‘Big Celebrity Challenge’ and has performed at the Taste of India festival in Bahrain. Catering to the diverse needs of his ever expanding list of clients, he designed shows that would play for any occasion and in any venue. His art gas taken him from Corporate events to Music festivals to closed door parties for just a few elites to massive outdoor events for thousands of people. He also acts as consultant for other magicians, events and TV shows and of late he has started the Kalkutta Konjurors , creating a platform for upcoming magicians to hone their skills.
