Talent Biography

Acclaimed vocalist, Daniel Mallari, is celebrated for his extraordinary versatility, seamlessly spanning Broadway musical theatre, light classical, opera, and contemporary pop.

A pop and standards residency in Japan led to an invitation to join the cast at Hong Kong’s renowned Piazza Romano, where he performed Italian arias and Broadway classics. During a seven-year residency in Hong Kong, Mallari appeared as lead vocalist for English rock band Stunned Mullet, starred in musical theatre productions including The Pajama Game, Dr Seuss, and Walt Disney in Concert, performed with Hong Kong Opera in Puccini’s Turandot, and recorded and toured internationally with dance/house group E.X.P.

A winner of the Fast Track to Fame National Talent Search, Mallari represented Australia in the United States, appearing on Fast Track to Fame, one of America’s most-watched talent programs, viewed by over 38 million people. Daniel Mallari is the recipient of the 2024 Australian Excellence Award in Entertainment and a ‘MO’ Award nominee for Best Male Vocal Performer. He has performed in the hit productions of Popera Classics, as one half of the acclaimed duo The Two Tenors, and as lead vocalist of the award-nominated vocal trio The Lions Den (‘MO’ Award nominees – Best Vocal/Variety Act).

One of fifteen children—lucky number thirteen—Daniel proudly calls Australia and the Gold Coast home, having become an Australian citizen in 2003.
