Rooted in the soul of Motown and Stax, Chris Burke delivers a velvety, grit-and-grace sound shaped by classic soul and timeless songwriting. Born in Vermont and formed by years in the South, he’s spent the last 20+ years immersed in Nashville’s music scene, performing regularly at venues like the Bluebird Cafe, 12th & Porter, and Acme Feed & Seed. A seasoned East Coast touring artist and Today Show feature alum, Chris brings a powerful, polished, and joyful stage presence—smooth, gritty, and impossible not to feel.

Come hear Chris Burke as he celebrates soul music in his show ‘Legends of Soul’. Hailing from Nashville, TN, Chris’s voice is a combination of Sam Cooke and Stevie Wonder with a little Etta James thrown in.
