Talent Biography
With successful tours, record-breaking sales, chart-topping recordings, and recognition from his peers and the public, Mark Vincent is one of Australia’s most beloved tenors. Now, in his late twenties, he has already recorded and released ten albums on the Sony label, with eight of these albums reaching #1 on the ARIA Classical Crossover charts, and several enjoying great success atop the ARIA national charts—an extraordinary feat. His recordings and live performances have received accolades both nationally and internationally.
Mark's made his musical theatre debut in the Australian national production of Dirty Dancing. It was a far stretch from singing classical or opera, yet it was a chance for Mark to showcase a whole different side of himself—an opportunity he embraced. His performances garnered great reviews for his role as Billy and set the stage for Mark to continue working in theatre for many years to come.
Dame Julie Andrews, DBE, directed the Australian national production of My Fair Lady, in which she personally cast Mark in the role of Freddy Einsford-Hill. The production opened to rave reviews and was a resounding success. Working under the direction and tutelage of Dame Julie has been a highlight of Mark’s career thus far.
Mark's Tribute to Mario Lanza, which contains the groundbreaking ‘virtual duet’ of Because You’re Mine with the Hollywood legend. The duet made headlines and received the blessings of Mario Lanza’s daughter, Ellisa Lanza Bregman, who gave permission for the re-recording of the duet and said, “I’m pleased to allow my father’s recorded voice to be joined on this historic recording by this exciting young tenor, Mark Vincent.”
A Tribute to Mario Lanza debuted at #3 on the ARIA Top 100 and at #1 on the ARIA Classical Crossover Charts. The album went on to be the highest-selling ARIA Classical Crossover album of 2017.
Mark concluded a stellar year with a national headline tour of Australia, followed by a sold-out tour of the United Kingdom as a special guest of world-renowned soprano Katherine Jenkins, performing at iconic venues including the Royal Albert Hall in London and the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow.
He also performed with Ms Jenkins at the historic Roman castle, Castello Orsini-Odescalchi. Another great highlight was being invited to Belfast, Ireland, to perform at the BBC Proms in the Park as a special guest of Britain’s Got Talent and multimillion-selling recording artist Susan Boyle. Mark also spent a little time in the USA, where he is planning to release his music and perform.
Mark has just recorded his tenth studio album with Sony Music, released in March 2022. He also embarked on his first national tour with the Australian Symphony Orchestra..
2025 Mark is contracted in the stage musical ""Cats"" touring Australia
He has released nine albums to date with over a million in sales.
