Talent Biography

Nordic Brothers – Violin & Cello Duo

Have you ever encountered true Vikings at sea? Nordic Brothers is a world-class string duo from the far North, featuring cellist Lukas Stasevskij of Finland and violinist Niels Levinsen of Denmark.

Classically trained at the prestigious Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, these Scandinavian virtuosos first joined forces in 2016 as members of the exclusive New York based Lincoln Center Stage. Since then, Nordic Brothers has captivated audiences across the globe with performances that blend technical brilliance, dynamic showmanship, and a distinctive Scandinavian spirit infused with warmth and humour.

Their concerts take audiences on an exhilarating journey: ranging from iconic pop, rock, and film music to rare and evocative works from their Nordic heritage. These two modern day Vikings have traded swords for strings, wielding violin and cello with passion, precision, and a touch of Nordic mischief.
