Giuseppina Grech is an Australian soprano acclaimed for her electrifying high notes, dynamic stage presence, and versatility across opera, music theatre, and crossover repertoires.
A principal artist with Opera Australia, she has performed leading roles including the formidable Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute and, Carlotta Giudicelli in The Phantom of the Opera. In 2026, she reprises Carlotta in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s 40th anniversary production for Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour.
In performing music theatre and crossover repertoire, Giuseppina tours regularly with The Australian Tenors and the Ian Cooper’s Proms Spectacular as their special guest artist. Other roles for the national company include Frasquita in Carmen and Isabella/Ferdinand in El Kid. She also appeared in Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour productions of La Bohème and La Traviata, as well as Aida, Madama Butterfly, Lucia di Lammermoor, and Anna Bolena at the Sydney Opera House.
As a soloist, Giuseppina tours with some of Australia’s most recognised performers including, Mark Vincent, The Australian Tenors, virtuoso violinist Ian Cooper. Other headline performers she has shared the stage in concert Sir Bryn Terfel, Teddy Tahu Rhodes, David Hobson and James Morrison.
Giuseppina presents her magnificent show accompanied by a 12-piece orchestra, 8 piece or 5 piece bands. For ore intimate shows, she performs with grand piano. A truly international show with something for everyone.
