Contemporary Saxophonist, Tommy Proulx, has set in place a promising future for instrumental music. His own brand of pop, hip-hop, and R&B instrumentals takes the sax to a new generation of listeners. With the release of his debut single, Wake Up Call, his youthful, yet sophisticated sensibility redefines the instrument as a tasteful addition to today’s urban pop sounds. Tommy’s recording credits span across many genres and has recently landed him his first contribution nominated for a GRAMMY award, Marvin Sapp’s Here I Am. Tommy has also established himself as an on-camera host, actor, and model in Hollywood and has appeared on several national commercial and print campaigns for brands including, Cristal Beer, Fandango, Cycle-Tone, Cheez-It, Nestea, and Hinokiya to name a few.
Upon Tommy’s arrival to Los Angeles, he quickly began working in television production for the Emmy-nominated daytime show, America Now, in partnership with ITV and Raycom Media. During his time at ITV, Tommy fostered what would be some of his greatest professional connections in broadcast television. Developing relationships with TV-host, Leeza Gibbons, and working with the producers that built television icons of Tyler Florence, Mario Lopez, Bill Rancic, among others, Tommy began associating with the best of the best in Hollywood. After Tommy’s experience at ITV, Tommy began developing his own made-for-TV show, Hollywood Music Circuit. Mentored by of one of Hollywood’s top talent managers and hosting guru, Marki Costello, Tommy began studying the careers of the most successful television personalities in the business, Dick Clark, Casey Kasem, and Ryan Seacrest. His business has always been and always will be music. In a short time, Tommy has begun to establish himself as a trusted authority within the Hollywood music industry. His career is taking shape to become the next generation of music entertainment hosts in the lineage of Dick Clark and Ryan Seacrest.
