Hannah Howie is an artist who hails from Scotland. She has toured the seven seas educating the masses on her homeland with songs and a smile. As a multi-instrumentalist and vocal coach with a psychology degree, she loves entertaining and audience interaction in her shows, thoroughly enjoying every unique performing experience. Prior to working at sea with Carnival/ Princess, Hannah trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland before performing in the UK on stage and radio, starring in shows such as Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Carousel and Lesley Bricusse’s Scrooge the Musical. Her own shows are contrasting and distinctive, showcasing Hannah’s 5 octave range, songwriting skills, and ability to make audiences laugh and weep for all the best reasons! ‘Caledonia Dreaming’ is a celebration of all things Scottish – from whisky and ceilidhs, to the depths of Loch Lomond and the joy of a Glasgow kiss, Hannah invites you into her home, her life and her take on what it means to be a true Scottish lassie…’One of a Kind’ is a show celebrating sirens and their songs over the years, particularly female singer songwriters who inspired Hannah as a child. From Carole King to Celine Dion, Annie Lennox to Sinead O’Connor, Hannah explores the female voice with her huge range and own style before offering the audience her own original work, the namesake of this show – ‘One of a Kind’. An epic, moving and powerful night suited to a MainStage theatre and complete with a live band.
