Talent Biography

Bob Cates, is a 30-year, award-winning clean comedian and variety artist. Assisted by his wife Jane, their memorable interactive comedy show includes advanced juggling, wild unicycling and balancing skills, and an insane plate spinning finale of 24 real plates which is made possible by the assistance of his wife Jane. Bob, a Canadian Juggling Champion, physical comedian and new vaudevillian comes from humble roots as a pig farmer’s son. He won Best Variety Act at the prestigious Canadian Comedy Awards and was awarded National Entertainer of the Year at the Canadian Event Industry Awards.

Bob & Jane’s performances are split between cruise ships, corporate and gala dinner special events, and churches or ministry events. He has headlined on almost every cruise line over the last 20 years totaling 250 weeks at sea. His wife both plays a big assistant role and also gets in on the act with a “juggling magic trick” they invented. Don’t miss this show!
