Biography At the age of 7, Uugantuya Ugi Otgonbayar began training as a contortionist in the Mongolian State Circus School under the tutelage of world-renowned contortion master Ma’am Tsend-Ayush. Since 2002, Ugi’s performed solo/duo contortion and aerial hoop internationally, winning a Bronze Clown at the 34th International Circus Festival of Monte Carlo with the Blue Sky Girls in 2010. Ugi regularly returns to Mongolia to perfect her teaching method ‘ a traditional Mongolian contortion style with focus on leg and back flexibility, handstands, one arm handstands, handstand push-ups and strength training. Both contortion and teaching are second nature to Ugi whose mother is a contortion coach in Mongolia
