Biography

Alex Yost is a born and raised southern boy from Salisbury, North Carolina. He grew up singing in church choir and honors chorus in high school. After attending and graduating college from Wingate University with

a degree in opera, Alex started his career aboard Norwegian Cruise Line as a production cast singer. During his time on NCL,  he created and performed many solo shows such as, “Southern Swing.” Alex has also toured with several tribute shows including Frankie Valli, Michael Bublé, Dublin Irish Tenors, and Glen Campbell. His passion for music extends beyond any single genre.  With his love for jazz and swing, Alex has a deep passion for musical theater. Performing in regional theater productions of “Les Misèrables” as Marius and “Grease” as Danny Zuko. At the end of the day Alex believes that performing is a way to meet and make new friends, share a true experience, and ultimately leave a piece of himself with you.
