Rondell Sheridan

Act Information

Biography

Best known as Raven Symone’s easygoing and lovable tv dad, Victor Baxter. Rondell began his journey by moving to New York City to pursue acting at the prestigious Circle in the Square theater school. During the next couple of years, he was cast in many off-off Broadway productions, including Leslie Lee’s “Between Now and then.”

At same time, Sheridan was cutting his teeth hanging out at the Comedy Cellar and the New York Improv. Hard work eventually paid off with three comedy specials: “Comics on Campus,” “A pair of Jokers” and Lounge Lizards.” These specials led to appearances on “The Tonight Show” with both Johnny Carson and Jay Leno. From there, it was only a matter of time before the networks came calling with what would become his bread and butter: playing lovable TV dads. From his first sitcom (which he co-created) “Minor Adjustments” (NBC), to Nickelodeon’s “Cousin Skeeter,” to the mega-breakout Disney Channel hit “That’s So Raven” and its spinoff “Cory in the House.” And now 15 years later he finds himself once again reprising his role as one of America’s favorite TV dads by joining the fifth season of Disney Channel’s “Raven’s Home”.

Currently Rondell is touring comedy clubs and theaters with his one man show “Duck tape and Garbage bags”
