Biography

Mariano Potel is a well-known Argentinian actor and stand-up comedian, working in famous theatres and television channels internationally. For over a decade he has been characterized by a humor based on an absurd and off-road style that adapts to all types of public.

At the beginning of his career, he worked in the Paseo La Plaza for five years led by Carlos Belloso. He also performed in many other theaters, such as Maipo and San Martin. After that first period, he was mainly dedicated to act outside Buenos Aires, traveling every year to work in Madrid.

In 2013 and 2014 he was the comedian of the Teatro Mirasierra on the ship Grand Celebration of Ibero Cruises for the South American route (Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil).

In television, he was the comedian that received the most monologues recorded for Blendita TV, and participated in Time to Laugh, Channel 9. He just recorded a special for the prestigious Comedy Central of Spain, and is currently working to release the show Happyen, the theater ND Ateneo, directed again by Carlos Belloso.
