Biography

Electra Brass is a completely unique all-female brass group. Integrating guitar pedal effects boards and wireless technology, Electra Brass produces innovative new sounds on trumpet, French horn and saxophone along with an appealing aesthetic, performing hits of many genres that audiences love. The ladies of Electra Brass are all highly trained instrumentalists, and are also vocalists and multi-instrumentalists on guitar, bass guitar, percussion and keyboard.

Electra Brass has a roster of a variety of female instrumentalists, and the 3 main musicians of the trio are:
• Jenni Lee Kearns – founder – French horn, guitar, keyboard, vocals
• Amanda Wentz – trumpet, guitar, vocals
• Eve Berrington – tenor saxophone, vocals, keyboard

In 2016, French hornist Jenni Lee Kearns, founded Electra Brass. Members have performed in various shows for Walt Disney Land, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Kanye West, Josh Groban, Jennifer Lopez, Donnie and Marie Osmond, the Righteous Brothers, Hugh Jackman, and in Broadway shows Lion King, Phantom of the Opera and West Side Story. Members have have played at SXSW, Essence Festival, and in venues across the USA, Japan and Europe as soloists and with various touring shows and acts.

Since its foundation in 2016, the Las Vegas-based Electra Brass has performed a variety of corporate events in Las Vegas, Florida, Texas, Philadelphia, New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Electra Brass has also performed as a featured act in the Cabaret showroom at Planet Hollywood Casino in Las Vegas, as well as alongside headliner Frankie Moreno in his show at the Golden Nugget on Fremont Street.

The musicians of Electra Brass also dedicate their time supporting music and arts education in schools. Jenni Lee Kearns has 5 year’s experience as an Elementary Music Specialists in the Clark County School District and the group has collaborated to present music workshops to students in Las Vegas.
