Ed “The Machine” Regine

In 1985 Ed performed his first open mic appearance in a little comedy club in Providence, Rhode Island. Four months later, Ed got his first paid gig.  That’s how it all started!  From 1986-1989 Ed was the hottest comic in New England, headlining comedy clubs & colleges, amassing over 300 shows a year.

In the 90’s Ed’s career moved into film & TV where he appeared on over two dozen shows including HBO, Showtime, MTV, Comedy Central, Comedy on the Road, and Evening at the Improv amongst others.  In addition, Ed has opened for over 120 National acts ranging from N’Sync to Jamie Foxx to Regis Philbin.

In 2000 Ed relocated to Hollywood to further his film & TV career… What A Move!  Ed appeared on numerous TV shows such as Mad TV, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Conan O’Brien, Last Comic Standing and regular appearances on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno (over a dozen times!).

Aside from his stand up, Ed is an accomplished actor with 45 film credits (to date) on IMDb including Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Charlie Wilson’s War, just to name a few.

To sum it up, Ed was reviewed by the Boston Herald as a ‘Non Stop Joke Machine’!  Ed has proven them right on the money!
